Hip-Hop: Initiated by the African-American youth and popularized by rappers. Common elements include brightly colored name-brand tracksuits, sheepskin and leather bomber jackets, Clarks shoes, British Walkers and sneakers. Popular accessories included large eyeglasses, Kangol bucket hats, nameplates, name belts, multiple rings and lots of heavy gold jewelry.
