Leather, studs and biker jackets are a part of the Punk style. But what happens when rock and roll meet in the basic garments? A more like chic version comes out.
Let’s start from the garment that represents the rock and roll world more than any other: the biker jacket. Soft like those worn by bikers, but teamed with a vintage printed long dress, see the Band of Outsiders model. More rigorous, the number by Belstaff,, sleeveless and with contrasting cuffs, paired with a polka dot black&white ladylike shirt. The contrasts enhances the aesthetic boldness of this cult jacket.
Leather bodices, see the Alexander Wang models, or tulle t-shirts worn with a trouser suit, by Emanuel Ungaro, just to rework the everyday classic work suit.
